Under Mark’s leadership, Hillcrest has grown from one employee in 2006 to 28 employees today. Hillcrest developed a sophisticated book publishing management software that it uses for its own 1,500+ customers who come through the various Hillcrest divisions: (self-publishing) (book printing, distribution and fulfillment) (ebook publishing, conversion, and distribution) and (launching in early 2017). is a project management tool for authors and publishers that helps them create and execute their own book publishing timelines as well collaborating with their hand-picked team of publishing professionals (designers, editors, etc.) to publish their book exactly as they desire. also provides an array of publishing tools such as timeline calculators, printing calculators, “rate my cover” (allowing colleagues to rate potential books covers), and a beta reader tool making it easy for authors to control who they share their manuscripts with and providing a central way to gather and collect feedback.
